How to use the Food Foraging Map
To view the entire list of fruit, nuts and herbs, click on the box icon located at the very top right hand side of the map. This will enlarge the map and show the list of free food available to forage, along with their locations.
The WEST Community Hub – Food Foraging Map contains a list of local fruit and nut trees and herbs located in public parks, walkways and overhanging onto Council verges. We do our best to ensure the map is accurate. If you find more ‘free to forage’ food growing in your local area, or would like us to update the map please contact us at bdm@west.org.nz.
